Many of us like to work rapidity while working on computers, and moreover, if we are working in data field then obviously this is our work requirement too.
Here you will learn about most of the Excel Shortcuts that can improve our productivity while working on Excel. Below are the keyboard shortcuts in which we have tried to include most of the keywords:-

 

Excel Shortcuts for Basic Selection

Shortcut Key Description
CTRL + A Selects the current region (if the worksheet contains data). Pressing CTRL + A second time selects the entire worksheet
CTRL + \ Selects the cells in selected rows that do not match the formula or the value in the active cell
CTRL + SHIFT + \ Selects the cells in selected columns that do not match the formula or the value in the active cell
CTRL + * Selects the current data region (using * on the number keypad)
ALT + ; Selects visible cells in the selected region
CTRL + SPACE Selects the entire column(s) for the selected range in the worksheet
SHIFT + SPACE Selects the entire row(s) for the selected range in the worksheet
CTRL + SHIFT + SPACE Selects the entire worksheet or selects all the objects (when an object is selected) on the worksheet
CTRL + SHIFT + 8 Selects the current region (surrounded by blank rows and columns)
CTRL + SHIFT + HOME Extends the selection to the beginning from the insertion point (when in edit mode)
CTRL + SHIFT + END Extends the selection to the end from the insertion point (when in edit mode)
SHIFT + HOME Extends selection to the beginning of the cell from the insertion point
SHIFT + END Extends selection to the end of the cell from the insertion point

SHIFT + F2 Inserts / Edits cell comment
ALT + N + I Displays Insert Hyperlink dialog box

CTRL + + Displays Insert dialog box to insert cells (using + on number keypad)
SHIFT + INSERT Copies the current selection to the clipboard
ESC Cancel the current action or command and close the dialog box, menu, or message window
ENTER Enters the contents of the active cell and move down by one cell
SHIFT + ENTER Moves one cell to the above after entering the contents of the active cell in the worksheet
ALT + ENTER Inserts a line break in the same cell
DELETE Delete one character to the right or delete the selection
CTRL + DELETE Delete text to the end of the line from the insertion point
SHIFT + DELETE Cuts the selection to the clipboard
BACKSPACE Delete one character to the left or delete the selection
CTRL + LEFT ARROW Moves one word to the left from the insertion point
CTRL + RIGHT ARROW Moves one word to the right from the insertion point

SHIFT + F8 Toggles Add to selection mode on or off
SHIFT + HOME Extends the selection to the first column of the worksheet
CTRL + SHIFT + HOME Extends the selection to the first cell of the worksheet
END + SHIFT + HOME Extends the selection to last used cell on the worksheet
CTRL + SHIFT + END Extends the selection to last used cell on the worksheet
END, SHIFT + ARROW KEYS Extends the selection to the next non-empty cell in that particular direction
SHIFT + RIGHT ARROW Extends the selection by one cell to the Right

F8 Toggles Extend Selection mode on / off (Use arrow keys to extend the selection)
SHIFT + LEFT ARROW Extends the selection by one cell to the Left
SHIFT + UP ARROW Extends the selection by one cell to the Up
SHIFT + DOWN ARROW Extends the selection by one cell to the Down
ALT + SHIFT + PAGE UP Extends the selection to the right by one screen
